Why the project mattered

Young people are living with the consequences of climate change, inequality, pressure on natural resources and increasingly complex public debate. Yet they are too often treated as an audience rather than as partners in shaping solutions. The project responded by making their perspectives, questions and ideas central to the learning process.

01

Think critically

Understand how environmental, economic and social systems connect and examine the long-term consequences of today’s choices.

02

Act responsibly

Turn knowledge into practical local action through active citizenship, responsible consumption and community initiatives.

03

Learn across cultures

Build trust, challenge stereotypes and discover shared values through cooperation between three cultural contexts.

Three connected objectives

Youth work in practice

Non-formal learning placed participants at the centre. Workshops, simulations, discussions, creative tasks and reflection enabled them to connect global trends with personal experience. The result was not a single answer, but greater confidence in asking better questions and developing shared responses.
